The 2A questionnaire is the short-form Census of Population questionnaire. Seventy-five percent (75%) of Canadian households receive a short-form questionnaire, which collects basic demographic information.
The 2A Questions and reasons why the questions are asked are available in alternate formats, including American Sign Language (ASL), Langue des signes québécoise (LSQ), audio, DAISY, electronic braille and e-text.
People who have a hearing or speech impairment and need help completing their questionnaire should call the Census Help Line TTY number (1-833-830-3109) to request assistance. Video relay services can also be used.

A large-print version of the questionnaire is available for the short- and long-form census questionnaires (the 2A and 2A-L). Large-print questionnaires are printed on legal-sized paper in a larger font size, with space to enumerate two individuals.
